Perth Bears Drive New Partnership With Mahindra

The Perth Bears have added another global brand to their rapidly growing partner portfolio — confirming Mahindra Australia as the club's Automotive Partner and a Founding Partner ahead of its inaugural NRL season next year.

The partnership will see Perth Bears players, coaches and staff driving a range of Mahindra vehicles, including its popular Scorpio model.

Perth Bears Head Coach Mal Meninga said the club had been deliberate about the partners brought in during this foundational period, and Mahindra's involvement reflected that approach.

"We're building a character-led club, on and off the field, and that means being just as deliberate about the partners we bring in as the players we recruit," Meninga said.

"Having a Mahindra in the garage every day and supporting our people is exactly the kind of practical, genuine support we need as we get this club off the ground. It's a great vehicle, and it's been a great addition to how we operate day to day."

Perth Bears CEO Anthony De Ceglie said Mahindra's involvement added to an impressive line-up of corporate partners for the expansion side.

"We wake up every morning feeling privileged to have the opportunity to bring the country's most-watched sporting code to Western Australia, and the calibre of partners choosing to join us for that journey says everything about the belief in this club," De Ceglie said.

"Mahindra joins a partner group that already includes some of the biggest and most respected brands in the country, and having a global automotive brand back us this early, with real vehicles on the ground supporting our people from day one, is a genuine vote of confidence in what we're building."

Mahindra Australia Country Manager Roy Arunangshu said the partnership reflected the brand's growing commitment to Western Australia and to Australian sport more broadly.

"To become a Founding Partner of the Perth Bears as they prepare for their first-ever NRL season is a genuine privilege for Mahindra Australia," Mr Arunangshu said.

"This is exactly the kind of long-term, community-first partnership we want to be part of, and we're proud to be supporting the club from day one."

Mahindra's involvement underscores the strength of interest from major national and global brands as the Bears build toward its historic entry into the NRL as the competition's 18th team in 2027.
